This new BLOGsite will look very similar as I tried not to change too many things. But when you check it out the features are just amazing. Its the best of all worlds a blog and a website in one. My Blog I am quickly finding is my most important piece of advertisement that clients can get a current view on what my new material is looking like. Silly to say but it’s almost more important than my website. The blog is a cool place to pop in and send a few minutes looking around with out having to spend an hour navigating thru a website. That's why it was important for me to have the proper setup for my blog. I still have work to do on it like adding favorite sites etc. But for the most part it's pretty complete. I still have all my same old websites it's just the blog that has got bigger and better. On another note I am about to launch a new senior site in the next 2 weeks. So stay tuned for the new addition to moments to remember photography.

{ I'm Back from Disneyland }

Hi guys as I blogged a few posts back we would be in LA visiting Mickey Mouse and the beach last week. I arrived back this morning to a whole lot of messages from clients who want to book sessions. WOW! So those new clients who have called I have not been avoiding you I have just been on vacation. I will be evaluating the weather and will call clients back on or before Tuesday to schedule appointments. I have a few of you who want next Saturday. I can see if there is a way to possibly squeeze you in if there are no other dates that work for you but I am pretty much booked solid that day. I am happy to see so many of you interested. This should be lots of fun to shoot in such a unique location. Thanks so much and we will talk to you all soon.

I have been off for January as I had a large job to complete. Well the job is done for the most part and I am back to what I love doing best for my clients- capturing your priceless moments. Today was my 1st day back and I have shoots everyday. What a week. Yikes!

Thanks to everyone of my clients who made 2008 a wonderful 1st year in business. The studio is still in the works, it is still in engineering and hopefully will have a GO here really soon. I am all ready with the plans and supplies. I am SO excited to get it going. This year is going to be absolutely amazing I already know it. I have just launched my Wedding site. It still has a few minor things I need to add but for the most part it's done. I will be launching a hip new senior site in a few weeks. I really feel like the emotion you get from each of those sites are so very different that they really needed their very own site and style. Thanks so much to all my clients and all you have done to support me and my new business. We are off to Disney Land for a week from the 8-14th. If anyone needs assistance the business will still be running while I am gone and I am avaliable via email if you need me personally.

This was baby Dani. Grammy Joyce has the pleasure of watching her little grand baby and has been dying to get this little princesses pictures taken. Well today was the day. Dani came to visit Grammy in Cali all the way from Alaska. This 15 month old was so Precious and loved taking pictures which made my job easy. Mom is always busy shooting pictures of everybody but her family but not today. Chelsea has been begging to go take some pictures so today we had some spare time and we visited the wild flower fields. Enjoy!

This was baby Athena and Sophia. This was an adventure for me as this was my first round of twins. It went flawlessly. These babies were so happy and content they made my job easy. With normal photo sessions it's hard to pick out my favorite pictures to work and post. Try doing twins- It was awful trying to choose my favorites, there were so many! Thanks Mom and Grandma for being such troopers. It was a long session. Without all your help today it would never have been possible. So in the end here were my fav few. Enjoy!

Well look who just turned 1...

This is Sienna from the beautiful Sarcomo family that all of you oooh and ahhh about. This client has got the most comments from any of my clients. This was the family that had the beautiful boat dock/lake setting with the bright orange maple trees in some of their backdrops. This baby was a joy to work with. She was so corporative. We had so much fun from tutus to cupcakes to birthday cake and straight to the bathtub. Thanks Sarcomo family for allowing me to be apart of Sienna’s 1st birthday.

This was the 2nd session for baby Ava. She was the NB from last week. We did some fun crazy stuff in the studio. All of these poses were inspired by and artist in Southern Cali named Carie Sandoval. I knew when I saw this artist and her work I had to try some of these amazing poses out. Thanks Patene family for another great session. I can't wait to follow the life of the Patene family as their little princess grows up.

The new addition to the Patane Family

I am supposed to be off working on a major project right now until February but when I got the call from the Patane Family there was no question I had to see The New Princess Ava. This baby was a dream! This baby slept for 2 hours as I worked my magic with her. This family was a pleasuer to work with as they were willing to do anything and everything I needed to get this job done as they wanted a good product. Well done mom and dad. Stay tuned to see more of this little angel as I take them into the studio where we are going to do some amazing things that will blow your mind next week. Special thanks to Jena for all her help. She was an awesome help for the day!

I have a new way of posting client pictures assuming time permits... You all know my clients have a hard time choosing what poses they want. That's why my package is called I know I am going to love them all- right? Well I have just as much trouble picking my favorite to post as you do picking them out. I love them all too! So what I am doing now is a collage of your sneek peeks. Like I stated time permiting this will be the new procedue for the blog. Fun stuff!

As I am about to start the construction of the new moments to remember studio I have been playing with new studio techniques and am having so much fun. I am in need of baby twins as models. I have so many new ideas I am dying to try out. So anyone interested let me know.

To the clients who I had to put off into new year I will be calling this week to get you on the books for feb. I will be tied up on a large job with my spare time until the beginning of feb. So I will be going full force starting in Feb again. If you have a newborn or special circumstance I will make time in my schedule for you- of course. I can still be contacted by phone and via email.I am so excited to see what 2009 holds. It has been such a fun and crazy year. My clients are all to thank, as you all are my keys to success in the community. With out you none of what I am doing would be possible. Construction will begin here in a week or two on the new moments to remember studio. I am so excited to see what the future hold. This place is going to be like no other I promise you that. Everything that makes a cool location or picture is going to be brought here under one roof. It's going to be quiet a project but well worth the wait. Well off to start my project and we will see all of you for your appts in feb.

Well its almost Christmas and I think all our work is done for this year. What a good feeling! It has been such a great year thanks to all our awesome clients. I never could have imagined things could be so good. I cant tell you how much fun we have had creating memories for your families. It's something words can't describe. I am so excited to see what 2009 brings as construction beings on the new studio soon! We have some major jobs and contracts lined up for the coming months to keep us very busy. Santa Claus is coming to...New Adventures!

We had a wonderful time at New Adventures Pre-School with our special guest. Santa came on his Harley this year and sat with the kids for a bit. They sang songs, shared a few photos and got to spend some quality time with the man in red. Thanks so much to Miss Steph and all the parents for allowing us to come out to do this santa photo shoot. Moments to Remember Photography is proud to announce that Jessica Cole of Jessica Cole Photography is merging with me on this creative endeavor. Jessica is a professional photographer who has been practicing photography since 1998. She has been a life-long Yuba Sutter resident and lives in Marysville with her husband and twin daughters.

As business partners, we will maintain the business name of Moments to Remember Photography and will combine our distinctive styles, personalities and creative visions for this business. Because of my loyal clients Moments to Remember has been a very successful endeavor and I am thrilled that I can accept a partner and allow the business to continue to grow.

Things are moving along so well that we can proudly announce that we will begin construction on a state of the art photography studio with a full acre of fully landscaped beauty to capture your magical moments. Work will begin this winter and be completed before the summer’s end. This gorgeous family had a STUNNING location for their session...a friend of their family's beautful home and property. Mom, dad & the kids all had a blast posing and catching those magical moments today. The weather was great, the location was amazing and the colors on those fall leaves...all around, it doesn't get any better than this!

This is one of my poses that I just love! Every time dad would lift this little darling up, she would plant a big KISS right on him! So sweet!

Mini Sessions 11-17-08

Today was a busy day! Mini sessions all day long... Here are a few peeks at a few of the families I did today. So much fun. I was supposed to shoot in studio and what do you know more studio light problems 1st thing. So immediately I had to go to plan B which was we were moving my little party outdoors for today. Again not the plan but did I make it work. Of course! The 1st family is one of my dear families the Uerberschaers- Nate and Nick are brothers and best friends. The 2nd family was the Hanson family. This is my web guys family. I have to give them thanks again for all they have done for Moments To Remember and where I am today is thanks to him and his hard work on the new site.Their pictures turned out so good. Their kids are so precious. As you can see in the pictures this bother and sister adore each other. My 3rd family was the Hall family another good friend of mine and site editor.lol. They just had a new little baby. I was able to capture some pretty fun moments for them today. My 4th client today was the Martin Family. Again one of our dearest friends. This family has NEVER had family pictures so this was an important mission to get some priceless images that will make them want to come back for more for years to come. I think they will be very happy. Well that's all I can to for one day and more to come tomorrow.

The New Duncan Family Baby! My 1st NB in studio!

This was the Duncan Family I did this evening. This family was tons of fun. I have to say it started out stressful but ended up perfect by the end. I haven't officially told the world yet but a natural light studio is in the works starting this winter. Time to get this stuff out of my house! Dont Worry DC parents I am still not going anywhere, just getting a more professional setup for this booming biz. Its going to be located on the acre that I am converting for seniors and events. I still have the studio in my home and well I went to pardees today to replace some new lights that I just bought last week that were damaged. Well got them replaced and on my way back home this afternoon as planned. Get home just in time for the Duncan shoot only to find out that their replacement didn't work again! I was so upset. Not only do I have a NB coming any minute but I have no studio lighting to do the shoot. Well I had a few tricks in my bag and made it all work with some old equipment and this is our end results. So stressful at the beginning and perfect work by the end. This baby I am going to say is one of the best babies I have ever had. I have only had one other baby like this one. They are so much fun when the are out like a light. Well take a look and more is on my site under the new pictures and babies tab.

Tad and Nicole's Fairytale Wedding!

All I can say is OMG! This was the most amazing experience I have had in a long time. Nicole is a daycare client of mine and a friend. When she said simple low key wedding- Well.... Not quiet. For simple this was one of the best weddings I have ever been to. Words cant describe the emotion that took place on this day. All I can say as I feel it all over again as I look Thru the images every time. It was just me on this event due to it being a "Simple Wedding" I took my good friend and professional photographer Jessica Cole along as an assistant for the day. I needed help and she wanted to see just what these wedding events are all about! Well Nic and Tad couldn't have had a better staff for the day. I felt like we were running all day long and never had time to capture the little things. Well looking back thru all these images I do have to say we caught all the little things. This family didn't need any posed shots to see the love that this family has for each other. As you will see in this small preview this family and this event was more than magical. Right in the middle of group pictures the rain came in. Oh my- but the even better we got a rainbow in return. It all worked out in the end and I so excited to put these thousands of images into this families hands as it will be a day set in history never to forget. Do you know how hard it was to pick my favorite 100 for the site!!!! That is a horrible things to do to somebody- sorry to all my clients who I give too many darn choices. I feel your pain. Thanks Jessica again for all your help. Without you the event wouldn't have went so flawless. Another amazing event that melts my heart! This is why I do what I do!
